Gisák a technika (3. díl)

V úvodním článku tohoto seriálu jsem představoval svoji aktuální techniku. V nedávné době nastal čas už tento veteránský kousek poslat do křemíkového důchodu a pořídit si mladšího a silnějšího parťáka. (Starý Lenovo G580 stále funguje, ale přesouvá se na roli záložního notebooku).

PC nebo notebook?

Prvním rozhodujícím kritériem bylo, zda si pořídit stolní počítač nebo notebook. O této otázce však bylo jasné téměř od začátku: kvůli své mobilitě zkrátka notebook vyhrává. Jelikož se čas od času přesouvám a potřebuji mít počítač stále při sobě, opět jsem se rozhodl pro notebook.

Jaká značka?

Při výběru nového stroje jsem strávil nemálo času, avšak nakonec zvítězila moje obliba a pozitivní zkušenosti se značkou Lenovo, které se potvrdily i díky dojmům mého okolí. Před lety jsem měl mobilní telefon této značky a prostě mám Lenovo rád. 😊 Uvažoval jsem o modelu Legion 5, nové modelové řadě Lenovo LOQ, nebo o řadě IdeaPad Gaming 3. Posledně zmíněná varianta vyniká skvělým poměrem mezi cenou a výkonem komponentů, a tak jsem se rozhodl pro notebook z modelové řady Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3.

Konkrétně se jedná od model Lenovo Ideapad gaming 3 15arh7.

Nový stroj

Porovnání s mým starým notebookem je jako přechod z favorita do superbu. Rozdíl ve výkonu je obrovský ve všech parametrech. Příjemné je také pozorovat rozdíly v teplotách. Zejména u SSD je rozdíl oproti starému až 40 stupňů.

Modelová řada IdeaPad Gaming 3 disponuje vylepšeným chlazením a v kombinaci s chladící podložkou se teploty udržují na příjemně nízké úrovni. Během psaní tohoto článku a s několika otevřenými okny v prohlížeči je teplota procesoru kolem 38 °C a teplota disku okolo 28 °C. Zatím jsem notebook nezkoušel vyloženě při zatížení s GIS nebo jinými náročnými úkoly, ale při hraní GTA V se procesor udržuje kolem 60 °C, disk okolo 35 °C a grafická karta kolem 40 °C.

Po týdnu používání nového Windows 11 musím konstatovat, že za mě je určitě hezčí než Windows 10 a nemám s ním sebemenší problém. Ta změna není tak velká jak při přechodu 7 → 10. Ale vše ukáže až čas, zda vydrží sloužit tak dobře jako jeho předchůdce a především po tak dlouhou dobu.

V dalším díle se podíváme na to, jak tento ntb zvládá GIS operace a jak je při nich rychlý.
